Jeff had a District Riding Club Meet in Fillmore this weekend so the kids and I went down on Friday and Saturday to watch. Friday night Jamie came through on her way to Cedar and we went to get something to eat. We found the greatest Drive-In of all time! It was the cutest place I have ever seen in my life. I felt like I was in Radiator Springs! It's called Cluff's Carhop Cafe right on Main Street in Fillmore. If you are ever passing through, skip the chain restaurants near the exits and drive into town to eat at the Carhop. You'll be glad you did! Not only was it the cutest place in the world, the food was awesome. The onion rings were hand battered (not breaded) and everything had real cheddar cheese rather than fake American cheese. They had old school milkshakes and cones, and even raspberry and strawberry fresh limes. It was a hit. I told Jeff we are going to drive to Fillmore just to eat there again.

Daisy thought her root beer cone was the best invention since mac 'n cheese.

Levi was much more interested in the ice cream than his hot dog. Some things you should know: They are closed from December to March, and they only take cash. Make it the Carhop next time you pass Fillmore!

Don't you worry....I will make it a point for sure to stop at the carhop on my next visit to Filmore. Where's Filmore? Just Kidding!
I love that place I spent a lot of summers in Fillmore growing up. I have a lot of family there and we would always go there! It sucks its only open in the summer though. Your kids are cute!!
