When April turned to May, Isaac turned from one to two. We got to celebrate with cousins and grandparents.

He LOVED opening presents and knew he was the center of attention. He picked right up on the "Happy Birthday' song and sang it to himself for several days. Whenever anyone would start singing it, he would join in proud as could be.

His favorite gift was his new "bike" from Grandpa and Grandma. Now he thinks he can keep up with the big kids. Hanging out with two-year-old Isaac has been so much fun. Jeff and I both talk about how big he is getting and how much older he seems. He insists on being much more independent and is significantly more mischievious. The messiest of his "I do it" has got to be after meal time. He wants to climb down from the table by himself, scrap his plate into the garbage (all over the floor and up the wall) by himself, and put his dishes in the sink (drip, drip, drip down the cabinets and onto the rug) by himself.
Isaac's favorites include horses (he sounds exactly like them when he makes his horse sound,) ice cream, trucks, and Daisy. He loves being naked, outside, and with his daddy...but not all at once :) Isaac is an innate unifier. He inspires the best in his siblings and his very presence brings peace in our home and in our lives. And he is stinkin' funny too.
