This was Daisy's first year playing coach pitch. The season started out a little rough. She hadn't had any experience being pitched to and got discouraged quickly. Her coach was patient and persistent and Daisy improved significantly throughout the season.
Her dad bribed her with money for the concessions stand if she would get a hit. It worked like a charm.
Her favorite position to play was 'pitcher,' which in coach pitch means that you stand next to the pitcher and get in on a lot of the action. Daisy was looking forward to a tournament when the league decided they weren't going to do one for the girls. Although a little disappointed at the end, Daisy had a great season.
