After watching our local theater company perform "The Nutcracker," "Sound of Music," and "Annie," Daisy begged me to audition for the next production. Auditions were scary! She had to perform a solo a cappella piece for the judges. She was cast as a who in Whoville and a poodle in the Circus for
Seussical the Musical.

They rehearsed for FIVE MONTHS! It was A LOT of work and required sacrifice from our whole family.

But...when showtime came around, it was definitely worth it! The production was amazing, especially considering the size, ages, and experience level of the cast, and our very limited resources.

Daisy really looked up to and admired several of the other cast members. "The Cat in The Hat" and "Jo-Jo" really made the show. Both are incredibly talented girls.

We created and distributed this invitation to all of Daisy's family and friends. Each night of the performance she looked forward to having so many people she cared about there to support her. It made all the difference in the world.
Even though it was a long haul, this experience was certainly worth it in the end...for all of us. Which means...you'll be seeing more of this girl on stage.
