Last weekend was Dansie Family Vacation time. With the exception of Brian & Rachel who are in Ohio at dental school, Jeff's whole family got together last weekend. We left Nephi on Friday morning and went to the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point. The kids loved it! We watched at 3D Dinosaur movie on the giant Imax Xango screen, and there was tons of hands-on stuff for the kids to do and see. Levi loved all the big 'raars.' After the dinosaur museum we went to the Mayan at Jordan Commons in Sandy to eat dinner. Last time Jeff and I went there we weren't very impressed, but this time it was so great! The food was fantastic. Everyone loved the divers. Daisy asked me if she could jump in the water like that. After dinner we went to the hotel and everyone - all 18 of us - went swimming in the hotel pool. We had so much fun! We laughed and splashed and just enjoyed each other. Daisy even took her floaties off and waded along the edge. Saturday morning we got up and headed to Lagoon. Only Daisy called it Galoon, which I think is simply adorable. They loved all the rides, especially the train, the carousel, and Rattlesnake Rapids. Jeff and I didn't ride much of anything because we spent most of our time at the kiddie rides (oh, and I spent over an hour in line for Wicked before they closed it!) but we had a blast. After a little weekend getaway we want to vacation all summer long!

Looks like you had fun! Man Mason would love that dinosaur place! So the restaurant has divers? that sounds neat!!
Oh my heck!! We wanted to hit T.Point but didn't have time...maybe next year..but we ate at the Mayan too!! We were there Friday at about 3:00 (late lunch)...we just musta kept missing each other!!I still don't know how we didn't see you at Galoon!! And Brayden totally wore that same Rodeo shirt that Levi had on! This is wierd.......:)
Sounds like lots of fun. I would love to run the 5K in Mona. When, where how? Isn't this the best way to keep in touch!
What a great weekend! I can't believe you fit 18 people in a hotel pool. It must have been a big one! That is sad you waited so long for Wicked and never got to ride it. I swear that always happens to us!
Sounds like fun! I love the Mayan. Kade thinks that it is dang cool too. Lagoon is so much fun, even when you don't get to ride the big rides.
So you never got to ride Wicked? I LOVE that ride. I could ride it over and over.
