The Easter Bunny visited our home Saturday morning. We hadn't hyped it up much, so the kids were surprised and thrilled to wake up to Easter baskets. Levi especially loved his new Spiderman glasses.
We met at Grandma's house to color eggs and have an Easter picnic that afternoon. There is a fire pit out back and we were going to roast hot dogs. Only, it was freezing and windy outside, so we moved the picnic indoors. Levi couldn't figure out why we were leaving the shells on the eggs. He knows you have to crack them before you use them! Daisy tried all different color combinations to come up with a purple egg.
After lunch there were candy filled eggs to be found all around Grandpa and Grandma's yard. The kids ran around gathering them up as fast as they could. Then, we smiled as we saw the older kids going along in front of the younger kids taking their eggs out of their baskets and 're-hiding' them just so they could watch the little kids be excited to find more. My ten-year-old nephew ended up giving away all of the eggs he found because he was re-hiding them for my kids! Don't worry, though, we divied them up in the end.It was so nice to have done all the 'bunny' stuff on Saturday so we could spend Sunday concentrating on the sacred meaning of Easter. Jeff's sister traveled up from Green River and we had a very nice Easter dinner at his parents' house. We hope you had a happy Easter too!

K...i am soo excited! I just ordered a couple of baby beanies...but get this: the boy one is brown and has little "ears" on top adn the girl one is purple with a pink flower on it.I can't wait to use them! They are both darling!;)

Thats a good idea to do all the Easter stuff on Saturday! Looks like lots of fun! I cannot believe how close you are! Did you go early with the other two?
It looks like a great Easter! I am glad that you go moved into your new apartment. Is it right in Nephi? I remember moving to Castle Dale last year when Tyce was 1 week away from being born. I am so nervous that I was going to be having the baby before I even had the crib set up. It all works out though..doesn't it!
We should have had Easter on Saturday too so it wouldn't have been so stressful! I love that your nephew was so nice and shared his eggs so that the little kids could find more. What a great kid! Glad you guys had such a great holiday!
