Try not to break the commandments by coveting, but it's true that I went to the Hilary Weeks Release Concert for her new CD Every Step this week. And not only did I go, I sat on the front row.
I was there with my beautiful friend Kate, whom I feel like I have known since before this life. We felt important because since we were sitting on the front row, we got to chat it up with Hilary's husband, Tim, and her adorable daughter Callie during intermission. I also saw Sherri Dew and Laurel Christensen there. I had to get a picture with Laurel because, #1 she is hilarious, and #2, we both ran the Utah Valley Marathon. She ran the 1/2 and I ran the full. It was a first for both of us...so now we're friends, right?
This is just a shot of Hilary and I hanging out, like usual. Ok, not really. This is a shot of me talking to Hilary trying not to pee my pants because I am so excited. And yes, she did offer to personalize and autograph all 7 of the discs I bought. I'm wondering if I can be Hilary Weeks' sister, or daughter, or neighbor, or something after the resurrection...maybe?

I am so jealous I wanted to go so bad but had a 6th grader performing in a band concert and didn't dare say I would rather go to Hilary. lol I love her music and her sweet spirit!
First of all, darling blog! Second...SO JEALOUS! How weird is this...even though I was unfortunatley NOT there, as I was scrolling through your pics, i was almost looking for myself in them! haha! When I see pics of Hilary and Natasha, I assume I will see me in them too. Hilarious. Sad. ;)
I MUST go get her CD asap! I am so excited to get some inspiration! Seems like I always need it. Did she say anything about SG? I wonder if she is driving down again with Tim. I wish she would come by herself so we could like, go to dinner and hang out. haha:). Glad you got to go! See you BOTH soon!
How fun Tash! I am a little jealous that you and Hilary are now BFFs though!:) I will have to go purchase her CD because I love everything that she does!
As your REAL family I feel slighted. I am also happy that you have something that makes you so happy. I love you and miss you.
Love,
Your Long Lost Korean Sister
Looks like a fun night! You have inspired me to go and listen to Hillary Weeks! I have heard a few of her songs, but sounds like I should hear more of them. You look gorgeous by the way!
