This year's Spring ride was supposed to be into Marsing's Ranch, but we chickened out because of the cold, so instead we rode around the plateau's of Green River, Utah. It was a perfect day for a ride. And because we decided not to go into Marsing's Ranch, Daisy got to come along, which was perfect.

This is a shot of me riding Dolly. Her and I get along well because we both have to live with the challenge of always wanting to be in charge. We understand one another.

We rode part of the morning and all afternoon. There were eight horses in our little group.

The kids finished off the day with a round at the Green River park. There were smiles all around.
It makes me excited for the rides we'll go on as a family this season. While Isaac is not old enough to go yet, he is old enough that I can leave him for more than an hour and go along with the rest of my family. Unless Jeff has it his way...Isaac will be riding in the saddle bags with our lunch.

What a great time. There is nothing better than going on a family horse ride. I love that you are so cowgirl. Oh...and Jim is from Price. Funny...what were his parents thinking?
Looks like fun! I love being outdoors.
jealous! looks like such a fun thing to do as a family! Loving this nice weather too.:)
Or you could just leave Isaac with his favorite long-distance Auntie! :)
So fun! Im glad you and Dolly understand each other!
